This was a tough game from the get-go. This was a big, physical team and they came out ready to play. We did not have any type of scrimmage or preseason game at all and it showed. We had several fumbled balls and over 120 yards in penalties, two of our best defenders got ejected and our starting Runningback got knocked out, yet, we only lost by 7 and we had a great chance to pull it out in the end. Personally, I felt very awkward the entire game. Very tight and totally out of rhythm. It was good to finally get that first game behind me and definitely felt much better going into the Danube game.
